Anna Kalinitschenko beim Arbeiten

"I am a visual artist with a passion for vibrant colors and emotional expression. My works are created intuitively – guided by feeling, color and the desire to evoke positive emotions in the viewer. A distinctive feature of my style is my intentional use of space: I do not cover the entire canvas but deliberately leaves areas unpainted to create a sense of lightness, depth and room to breathe."

My path into art was not a sudden decision, but rather a gradual return. At nineteen, I painted my first work on canvas and was already fascinated by the energy that color can unfold within a space. Driven by curiosity for new media, I initially chose to pursue a training in design.

My many years of experience as a self-employed visual designer continue to shape my artistic work to this day. For a long time, I worked with large companies, later increasingly with medium-sized businesses.

During this period, I developed a refined sensitivity for harmonious compositions, as well as for the perception and emotional impact of color. The conscious exploration of surface, structure, and chromatic effect forms the foundation of my work today.

My step into fine art was less a break than an expansion. In the unrestricted work on canvas, a space opens up where color, layering, and depth can be explored intuitively.

Today, art occupies an ever-growing space in my professional and creative life. I combine my experience in visual design with a free and intuitive painting practice.
